Kevin is guaranteed to bring a smile on your face, so join him on Sundays from 12 noon.

Kevin Hann

I was born and bred in Yeovil and I am a former pupil of Grass Royal Junior school and Bucklers Mead.

My interests include sunning it up by a pool, cycling and driving

I have really enjoyed being a part of Ivel FM from the very beginning, watching the station grow into the popular local radio station it is today.

Join me every Sunday afternoon from 12 for the Retro Years, great giveaways and great music.

What's your favourite song ever? Can I have 2?! The Cars - Drive and Mary J Blige - Family Affair

What are the things in life that you like? Pay day and going on me hols!

Do you have any pet hates? Traffic jams and reality TV programmes!

What's your favourite meal? Anything from McDonalds!

What's your number one tipple? Don't really drink much but I'm partial to a pint now and again!

If you won the lottery, what would you spend the cash on? Gotta be my own radio station

What's your motto for life? You only live once!

What's your proudest achievement so far? Getting a job with Ivel of course!

Cat or Dog? Dog - I'd better say dog as I've got three at home!

Licensing officers have slapped fifty pound fines on two Yeovil taxi drivers who were caught smoking in their vehicles - even although they were not carrying passengers at the time.   Taxi drivers are not allowed to smoke in their cars because it is deemed that this is their workplace. Should the smoking ban be extended to include all cars vans and lorries?

On Sunday 4th May, Neil Quigley and Matt Crabb from Team Ivel were broadcasting live from The Abbey Hill Steam and Country Fair. The event is held every year on the first May bank holiday. Despite the weather a great day was had by the team! There were many attractions on show from Steam Engines to Tractors and a visit from the Air Ambulance. Plus entertainment on the Ivel fm stage in the form off musical talent from Mandy.
