Hi there, I'm Scott - here weekday afternoons with the drive show between 2 and 7, and with the all new Saturday morning show between 8 and 1.

I've got loads of great tunes to make your workday fly by, and some good prizes up for grabs too. The Westcountry Wonder is our brand new competition where everyday I'll give you clues to a person, place or thing.

The gold clue is the hardest, followed by silver then bronze clues. First person to get it right is crowned the Westcountry Wonder for the day and gets an Ivel FM certificate, in yes you guessed it - either in Gold, Silver or Bronze! What's your favourite song ever? Impossible to say really, I love music so much to narrow it down to just one track, but Electronic "Disappointed" is one of my all time favourites. New music - well The Fray "Over my head" is a good song, and I've also got Nelly Furtado's "Say it right" on loop at home right now. The Ghosts album is also very good.




What are the things in life that you like? Good conversation, good food, good music, being close to family and friends. Sunshine on a crisp cold morning. The smell of concrete after it has rained... weird, yes I know.

Do you have any pet hates? Rude people. Miserable people. People who think the world owes them something. Caravans. Call centres. The DVLA Call centre. People who's answer phone messages go "Hello.... Hello.....?" Tractor drivers who refuse to pull over when they have the opportunity to.




What's your favourite meal? Italian. Not that I can pronounce many of the dishes. I prefer restaurants that offer a number next to the dish. "I'll have the number 21, 45 and finish it with 102... thanks"




What's your number one tipple? Bloody Mary (Tomato juice and vodka, dash of Worcester sauce and Tabasco, salt around the glass rim with slice of lemon and lime. Oh and don't forget the ice). I read on Wikipedia that a Bloody Mary without the vodka is known as a Bloody shame!

If you won the lottery, what would you spend the cash on? I'd buy Stars Lane car park and offer free parking for a year for anyone who listened to Ivel FM. Or should I say Scott FM as I'd buy the station with my winnings too.

 


What's your motto for life? Never regret anything. Live everyday as if it's your last, and appreciate those close to you - they won't be there forever.

What's your proudest achievement so far? Doing what I'm doing. I love it.




Cat or Dog? Dudley, he is the world's coolest golden retriever!




Have you ever met anyone famous? I've met Dot Cotton from Eastenders (who had a brandy and a fag in her hand at the time), Rachel Stevens, Lemar, Alan Titchmarsh, and the guys from Feeder. I've also interviewed Charlotte Church, she's really down to earth, but she took up Gavin Henson's offer to be her boyfriend over me. Gutted.
